2013 Tea Room & Gift Shop

March 4-9 & 11-15, 2013
11:30 am -  2 pm
316 West Carolina Avenue
Summerville SC 29483

St. Paul’s Summerville will have its spring Tea Room and Gift Shop in March. The Tea Room will feature two popular Low country dishes, the signature Tomato Pie and She Crab Soup, as well as delicious salads, sandwiches, and homemade desserts. Set in the beautiful Doar Hall, live music adds to the ambiance of a lovely seasonal tea room.

The Tea Room Gift Shop
The St. Paul’s Gift Shop has been an essential component of our annual event for the Summerville community. We offer creative, unique items hand-crafted by our parishioners such as jewelry, notecards, knitted stuffed animals, wooden crafts including birdhouses, cutting boards, a kneeler, decorative accents, bath oils, paintings, photography, and sewn gifts like aprons, pillows, embroidered towels, and tote bags.

NEW this year is the St.Paul’s Cookbook for Supper Clubs and other large groups.

The Plant Tent
There will have unique plants such as native or heirloom plants, succulents, herbs, or just good quality plants, flowers, or shrubs.  Also available are garden accessories that enhance a backyard, porch, patio, or garden.
Plants that will be available:
Angel Trumpet (Brugmansia), Confederate Rose (Hibiscus mutabilis), Crinium Lilies (Crinum asiaticum), Ginger Lilies (Hedychium), Native Hibiscus-Texas Star (Hibiscus coccineus), Papyrus-assorted sizes (Cyperus papyrus), Sago Palms (Cycas revoluta), Turk’s Cap Hibiscus (Malvaviscus penduliflorus) and Tea Plant (Camelia sinensis).
Herbs: African Blue Basil, Cuban Oregano (Mint-Chocolate, Spearmint, Peppermint), Purple Frilled Basil, and Yarrow.
Succulents and more….

The Attic Treasures Tent will have gently used items such as dishes and kitchen items, nick knacks, framed pictures, books, etc.

Proceeds will fund local and world ministries.  Come enjoy the flowers of Flowertown in the Pines!
