Mirror, mirror on the wall …What do you see when you look into your mirror? A few more wrinkles, graying or thinning hair? If you are young, maybe a new blemish or some fuzz longing
for a shave? We hope you see a much-loved image-bearer of God – immeasurably precious in His sight for that is what each one of us is. During January we celebrate the SANCTITY OF
LIFE from conception to natural death. We believe that everyone from the very beginning has infinite worth and has before them a life worth living.

Our culture is often in conflict with this belief; devaluing life, humanity and God. The messaging is that it is permissible and indeed desirable to end a life because of personal convenience, perceived hardships, fear, desperation. We need to educate ourselves on the horrors behind the pro-death euphemisms. With love, kindness and respect we must be bold in shining the light of Christ onto these dark lies and to help our fellow beings see their worth and make a choice for life. As holy scripture reminds us whatever we do to/for the least of those among us, we do to/for Jesus. Blessings on your life from St. Paul’s Zoe Chapter of Anglicans for Life.
